We finally were given permission by management to break our lease, so we started apartment hunting immediately. After checking out a few apartments from listings on various sights over a 3 week period, my fiancé found a listing Keith posted on StreetEasy, literally minutes after he had posted it. It seemed too good to be true. My fiancé reached out to Keith immediately and Keith was kind enough to let us see the apartment that very evening (on a Friday night no less) ahead of the open house scheduled on Saturday after we told him our flight. Oh my goodness! What an apartment! Keith allowed us the evening to think about it and by the next morning it was a done deal. He helped us every step of the way throughout the process of applying and arranged for us to go to the management office to meet with the owner of the building the following Tuesday to sign the lease. Within 4 days of meeting Keith, we had our awesome 3 bedroom rent-stabilized apartment only a few blocks from Prospect Park, 2 blocks from the subway, a two-year lease, and a move-in date.
